Miss International Queen 2026 celebrates 20 years at Siam Paragon, welcoming 27 trans women worldwide

Media Kampung, Bangkok – Miss International Queen 2026 marked its 20th anniversary at SCBX NEXT TECH, 4th Floor, Siam Paragon, Thailand, gathering 27 trans women from as many nations. The ceremony, titled “The Welcome and Sash Ceremony,” set a vibrant scene of colour, friendship and determination as contestants arrived with personal stories and aspirations to inspire change.
The milestone edition unfolded under the theme “The Evolving Legacy: Empower Every Voice,” highlighting the pageant’s evolution from a platform for visibility to a global stage for talent, advocacy and societal impact. Chairperson Alisa Phanthusak Kunpalin emphasized that the event now showcases contestants’ ideas, potential and contributions to society, not merely their identities.
Deputy Governor for Policy and Planning of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chuwit Sirivajjakul, welcomed the delegates and linked the event to Thailand’s reputation as a leading Pride destination, inviting participants to experience the country’s culture and hospitality.
Reigning Miss International Queen 2025, Midori Monet of the USA, presented the sashes to the 2026 cohort and urged them to use their voices for causes they cherish, reinforcing the pageant’s legacy of empowerment.
A highlight of the night was the unveiling of “The Reborn Crown,” designed by God Diamonds. Inspired by the butterfly, the crown combines diamonds symbolising inner strength with pearls representing wisdom and grace, serving as a symbolic emblem passed across generations.
The event also underscored Miss International Queen’s expanding global footprint through its national licensee network, collaborating with partners in Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, the United States, Mexico and beyond to elevate trans women and address grassroots community issues worldwide.
With 27 contestants representing diverse cultures, the celebration not only commemorated two decades of progress but also set a forward‑looking agenda for inclusion, talent development and advocacy on the international stage.
